Social refresh

I was one of the main designers and art directors for all of Gatorade Performance Partners social media. Two years into working on this client I was tasked with creating a visual refresh for their social media platforms. This was due to the fact that the old brand guidelines were very bland and dated. This enfold limited us to create boring content that didn’t engage well with their audience.

Fixing Video POsts

Adapting square ratio to vertical ratio videos was first on the list. Secondly stop wasting time on hand selecting photos from the limited photo gallery we had access to. Instead take advantage of simple, universal stock footage that is visually more exciting.

Instead of posting content that has been posted before. I put forward that we use the time made available from stock usage in posts above and create more up to date infographic animations in their place.

Growing IG Stories

One aspect of Instagram that the client didn’t take advantage of was stories. The biggest benefit of bolstering strong daily IG Stories is that their followers are constantly seeing their page pop up when they open the app.
